Logan High School evacuated after 'suspicious object' found in bathroom
LOGAN, Ohio (WCMH) -- Logan High School evacuated students and other local schools were placed under a lockdown Wednesday after a potential threat was discovered in a bathroom.
Multiple agencies, including the Columbus Division of Fire's bomb squad, were sent to Logan High School about 11 a.m. after a fire alarm was pulled and a "suspicious object" found in a bathroom.
The district said students were safe and that bus riders would be sent home by their normal bus. Student pickup was being arranged at the Chieftain Center on the school campus on State Route 328.
Activities for the rest of the school have been canceled, and other schools in the district were placed on lockdown.
