COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person was killed and four others were injured after an early morning shooting Saturday in South Linden.
Columbus police were called about 3:45 a.m. to the 1400 block of St. Clair Avenue, where they found five people, including the suspect, injured from gunshot wounds.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Columbus police chief Elaine Bryant in a Saturday morning press conference in the Short North. Chief Bryant says the suspect in the shooting was taken to the hospital in critical condition due to a suspects self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The other three victims were hospitalized with one in critical condition and two in stable condition. No further information is known at this time.
