COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Tony-Award-winning revival of composer Stephen Sondheim's musical comedy "Company" has come to Columbus.

Rush seats are also available for 50% off the current full price of tickets, but must be purchased in-person only at the theatre's box office. These last-minute seats are limited to two tickets per person.
The musical comedy about the search for love in New York is turned on its head in this revival production, in which Bobbie, the iconic bachelor, is now a bachelorette played by veteran actress Britney Coleman.
At Bobbie's 35th birthday party, all her friends are left wondering why she isn't married and why she hasn't settled down to start a family. The musical comedy, given a makeover for the modern day, features some of Sondheim's best-loved songs like "The Ladies Who Lunch" and "Being Alive."
Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Marianna Elliot, the revival's tour stop in Columbus follows a sold-out run in London's West End and the Tony-winning run on Broadway.
"The extraordinary response to this musical masterpiece, both in London and on Broadway, was exhilarating," said producer Chris Harper in a release. "We are delighted that audiences across North America will finally have the opportunity to experience Marianne Elliott’s Tony Award winning, joyful and laughter-filled production."
This production of "Company" was the last Broadway production of Sondheim's work that he saw to fruition before his passing at the age of 91.
