Warm & dry mid-week ahead for Columbus area

Good Tuesday Evening,
It has turned out to be a very nice day, and a nice close to the month with morning showers giving way to mild temps again this afternoon with highs back into the middle 70s. Tonight, as skies clear, temps will fall back into the lower 50s, about 5 degrees above normal. Expect plenty of sunshine to start the day on Wednesday with a few clouds later, and highs in the lower 80s.
We will see plenty of sunshine again on Thursday with a warmer start in the upper 50s, temps should climb to the middle 80s during the afternoon. Clouds will start to increase from the south/southwest into Thursday night and Friday. Temps will remain quite mild on Friday in the lower 80s, with thunderstorms forming in the mid afternoon hours.
Storms and rain will ramp up a bit Friday evening into Friday night, as a weak front pushes to the east. This will bring a slight drop in temps into the weekend on Saturday as we will fall back into the upper 70s. There will still be a chance for scattered showers as we will be between two systems on Saturday. Sunday an isolated showers cannot be ruled out, with highs again in the upper 70s.
Monday we will be watching as a warm front to our south will lift northward, and will give us a chance of a few isolated afternoon to evening pop-ups with highs again in the mid to upper 70s. As the warm front lifts north, another weather system will linger to our west and will keep rain chances and a few rumbles in the forecast for Tuesday of next week with highs back near 80.
