Columbus police seek leads in 2014 fatal drive-by shooting
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus police are seeking assistance in solving a fatal drive-by shooting that occurred over 11 years ago.
According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, the death of Dresan Armstrong remains unsolved with few leads after he was gunned down near the 600 block of Bulen Avenue in east Columbus.
About 9 p.m. on March 25, 2014, officers arrived to find Armstrong outside, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead within the hour.
Police located a second victim a short distance away from the shooting who also had been shot, but that person survived.
A motive has not yet been established for the shooting, nor any events that may have led up to it.
