Kickoff time announced for Ohio State-Minnesota game on NBC4
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Ohio State's homecoming game now has a start time.
The top-ranked Buckeyes will play Minnesota on Oct. 4 at Ohio Stadium, and the game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. on NBC4.
The game will mark the third straight season that the Buckeyes have played on NBC4 and the first time since last season's one-point loss at Oregon in the regular season. This will also be the first Ohio State home game on NBC4 in nearly two years, since a game against Michigan State.
But before Ohio State and Minnesota meet, the Buckeyes will play their first road game Saturday against Washington at 3:30 p.m., and the Gophers will play Rutgers at home starting at noon.
The all-time series between these Big Ten mainstays is one-sided, with the Buckeyes having a 47-7 record against Minnesota. Ohio State has won the last 11 games and its last loss was in 2000 at Ohio Stadium 29-17.

Minnesota has started its season 2-1, beginning with a 23-10 home win over Buffalo of the Mid-American Conference. After beating Northwestern State 66-0, the Gophers lost California 27-14 in Berkeley.
The Buckeyes are one of two currently ranked teams the Gophers will play this season, along with a game Nov. 14 at No. 6 Oregon.
This week, NBC4 is home to one of the biggest games of the season as Oregon plays at No. 3 Penn State at 7:30 p.m. in the annual "White Out" game.
