Two dead after west Columbus motorcycle crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Two people have died after a two-car crash involving a motorcycle in west Columbus on Saturday.

Authorities responded to the intersection of Roberts and Hilliard Rome roads shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday after report of a crash, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Two people were transported to a local hospital in critical condition and have since been pronounced dead, the first at 7:17 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m.

The intersection was closed while authorities continued to investigate. Additional details have yet to be released.
