1 injured in west Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person has been injured after a shooting in west Columbus on Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to the 3700 block of Briggs Road in the Hilltop at 6:34 a.m. on Saturday after report of a shooting, according to the Columbus Division of Police. One person was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

Two suspects were detained, police said. Other details have yet to be released. The shooting remains under investigation.
