The attack occurred around 9:40 p.m. when the unidentified 40-year-old victim ran into Sammy's Gourmet Deli on Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica looking for help and was stabbed multiple times in front of horrified store clerks, according to police and a rep for small-shop merchants.
