The new
Ottawa Public Library is slated to open in the summer of 2026. It's called
Ādisōke — storytelling in Algonquin — and it's not your grandma's library, or maybe it is. It's farm-field far from just a library. It's billed as a place for everyone, to do almost anything. It's a joint production with three partners — Library and Archives Canada, the Ottawa Public Library Board, and the city. So let's check it out.
