Seven councillors sack LG chairman in Edo 

Chairman of Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, Alabi Oshionogue, has been impeached. His impeachment was announced in a letter signed by seven out of the 10 councillors of the local government on January 28. The PUNCH gathered that Oshionogue was impeached a few hours after lawmakers in the Edo State House of Assembly
