Fans of Welcome to Plathville will recall Micah Plath spent his entire life in rural Georgia before making a big leap to Los Angeles. Most fans were supportive of this huge step forward in his career, but viewers also worry about Micah living in a place as different from his home as Hollywood is. Micah Plath is the second oldest son in the Plath family at twenty years old. In the first season of Welcome to Plathville, Micah seemed content with his life on the large family farm. Micah spent most of his childhood being homeschooled and playing the mandolin in the Plath family band. After being told he was no longer a good influence on his younger siblings, Micah and his younger sister Moriah were forced to move out of their parent's home and find their own place.
Micah decided to pursue modeling and acting on Welcome to Plathville. He has shown how serious he is about his future, even meeting with a dialect coach to help him lose his southern accent for auditions. Many fans are inspired by Micah and Moriah for overcoming their strict upbringing and celebrating their newfound freedom. During the Welcome to Plathville season 3 finale, it was revealed Micah would not be moving to Tampa with Ethan, Olivia, and Moriah. Instead, Micah moved to LA to book more modeling and acting jobs.
