Raised By Wolves Season 2 Trailer Teases Conflict Between Androids & Humans
A new trailer for Raised By Wolves season 2 from HBO Max has arrived, teasing the next evolution of the sci-fi show. Raised By Wolves is created by Aaron Guzikowski and executive produced by Ridley Scott. Series regulars include Travis Fimmel, Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Jordan Loughran, Aasiya Shah, and Ivy Wong.
Raised By Wolves centers on a pair of androids with superhuman abilities who are tasked with protecting the next generation of humans on a new planet called Kepler-22b, where humanity has moved after a great war destroyed Earth. The show revolves around the themes of religion, technology, science, and humanity, while presenting a number of wild and exciting sci-fi ideas, creatures, and mysteries that set the tone for the show.

A new trailer for Raised By Wolves season 2 has been released from HBO Max, showing off a new home, new characters, new conflicts, new androids, new creatures, and new mysteries for the series. Amanda Collin's Mother, Abubakar Salim's Father, and Travis Fimmel's Marcus are back, as is the young Winta McGrath's Campion, however, a new slate of actors are joining Raised By Wolves for the new season, including Peter Christoffersen, Selina Jones, Morgan Santo, James Harkness, Kim Engelbrecht, and Jennifer Saayeng. It's unclear what direction Raised By Wolves season 2 will go in, as the first season spent a lot of time setting up the new planet and its inhabitants, as well as the various otherworldly things that affect the human and android visitors. However, this new trailer does shed some light on the broader themes at play, as well as the growing conflict between androids and humans as they struggle to coexist in this new world, which seems to have a lot of secrets of its own yet to be revealed. Mystery is a key device used throughout Raised By Wolves, as much of the sci-fi elements employed are more allegorical in nature and fictional in presentation, making the show that much more compelling to decipher.
Raised By Wolves season 1 was an absolute head spinner in the best possible way, promoting a string of ideas about humanity, technology, and all the common themes that pervade the sci-fi genre. However, the show presents these elements in exciting, fresh, and downright odd ways, making it impossible to turn away from, even when it borders on the grotesque. More than anything, Raised By Wolves shows great potential to grow into something exponentially bigger than just another sci-fi show and with this new peek at season 2, there's a good chance it gets there. Raised By Wolves season 2 debuts on February 3rd, 2022, on HBO Max.
