State investigators looking into the death of a man after he rode on a Universal Orlando Resort roller coaster say what they found aligns with that of the theme park resort’s leaders who say that the ride’s operating systems functioned as intended. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services monitored tests of the Stardust Racers roller coaster at Epic Universe last week after Kevin Rodriguez Zavala was pronounced dead Wednesday after riding the coaster. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death as multiple blunt impact injuries. Universal Orlando Resort's president said internal findings showed that ride systems functioned correctly.
