Democrats are looking to expand their hold on the nation's governorships in the midterm elections in November. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear says their strategy should focus on offering solutions for Americans feeling squeezed by high costs. Beshear is tasked with electing more Democratic governors. Beshear said Monday that Republican President Donald Trump has “no solutions” for the challenges that families are facing. Beshear made the comments during a sit-down interview with The Associated Press. The two-term governor is leading the Democratic Governors Association heading into the midterms.
