Armed men have attacked the home of Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine, targeting his wife, Barbara Kyagulanyi. She says the men, in military uniform, demanded to know Wine's whereabouts and assaulted her when she refused to cooperate. Wine has been in hiding since the recent election, which he claims was rigged. His party, the National Unity Platform, has faced increasing persecution. Wine's lawyer has called for international intervention to ensure his safety. The election was marked by internet shutdowns and alleged voter fraud. President Museveni, in power for decades, won with 71.6% of the vote.
