Wildlife officials say a large exotic lizard was found buried in the snow in Rhode Island. A man spotted the cold-blooded reptile from his driveway and quickly brought it inside on Tuesday. He wrapped the tegu lizard in a T-shirt to conserve heat. Once at an animal hospital, veterinarians say the creature was extremely weak and underweight. The tegu's tongue suffered frostbite, resulting in a small portion being amputated to help with recovery. The wildlife center says it's unknown if the lizard escaped or was abandoned. These lizards are native to South America.
