Thousands have converged in northwestern Libya for the funeral of Seif al-Islam Gadhafi, the son of Libya’s late leader Moammar Gadhafi. He was killed earlier this week. Mourners carried pictures of Seif al-Islam and his father and chanted at the funeral held in the town of Bani Walid. Seif al-Islam was killed Tuesday in his home in Zintan. His political team claims four masked men stormed his house, disabling CCTV cameras. Seif al-Islam was once seen as a reformist face of the Gadhafi regime. He was convicted in absentia for inciting violence and was wanted by the International Criminal Court.
