Eulogies are pouring in after the death of the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson. The protege of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and two-time presidential candidate who led the Civil Rights Movement for decades was 84. Rev. Al Sharpton says he has lost the man who first called him into purpose and the nation has lost “one of its greatest moral voices.” Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter, Rev. Bernice King, said Jackson was a “gifted negotiator and a courageous bridge‑builder”and gave thanks "for a life that pushed hope into weary places.” Former President Barack Obama says Jackson's historic runs for president laid the foundation for his own campaign.
