Fans Think Kate Middleton Already Has a Replacement Lined up for a New Stylist & It’s an Old College Pal
Chances are, if you’re a royal fan, you’ve heard of the name Natasha Archer. For well over a decade, she was Catherine, Princess of Wales’s Personal Assistant and stylist. Not only was she a loyal member of Catherine, also known as Kate Middleton’s, team, but she and Kate became fast friends. However, in a shocking turn of events, People revealed earlier this week that Archer is leaving Kensington Palace. Now, people are wondering who Kate’s new stylist will be, and fans think they already know who it will be.
The musings of Archer’s replacement originally came from Royal Fashion Daily, and Hello Magazine reported even more details on the theory. But if you need a summary: fans believe Archer’s successor could be Virginia Chadwyck-Healey.
Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, also known as Ginnie, is a fashion guru, to put it lightly. She worked at British Vogue for 12 years, launched VCH Style in 2018, and as of 2025, she also takes on luxe clients. According to her website, she’s all about sustainability, which is a huge cornerstone of Kate’s fashion (cough, cough, the re-wears)! Her website even says, “Ginnie promotes sustainable shopping habits and ethical awareness when recommending a fashion purchase.”
Now, what fans may not know is that she and Kate originally met at the University of St Andrews while they were both studying Art History, per the Standard.
She was invited to the royal wedding in 2011, and worked as Kate’s stylist before! It’s true, even Archer was on maternity leave in 2019, Kate tapped in Chadwyck-Healey to help with her public ensembles.
So a pal she’s worked with before? It seems like a very good possibility. Plus, insiders told DailyMail via The Standard in 2019 that: “Ginnie is Catherine’s secret weapon. She has made a big difference to the Duchess’s wardrobe for public engagements and has helped give her a whole new sense of confidence. Catherine has been really impressed and is very grateful for her help.”
While we eagerly await to see who Kate’s new stylist is, our eyes are on Chadwyck-Healey.
