Amal Clooney Banned This Item Inside Her & George’s Home — & It May Have Everything to Do With Their Kids
George Clooney and Amal Clooney‘s homes are shrouded in mystery, but now, Amal just revealed a serious rule everyone in the house (visitors included) must follow!
In a recent interview with Glamour, Amal talked about a big rule in her and George’s household: they have a strict no-phone policy. In fact, everyone that comes to visit has to put their phone in a basket. “Creating private moments and spaces is becoming increasingly difficult. But that’s also why we entertain a lot at home. I now have a phone basket that I use to take everyone’s phones away,” she said.
She added why she does it, saying, “It’s important to get that balance where you have time alone with your family and with your friends where people feel like you can have a safe and frank exchange.”
Not only is it a habit to keep everyone in the moment, but it totally goes in line with how vehemently they protect their twins from the public eye, too. So this no-phone policy may have everything to do with keeping their privacy as well!
For those that don’t know, George and Amal Alamuddin, a prominent human rights lawyer, met back in 2013 through a mutual friend, and by the following year, they got married!
They later welcomed twins on June 6, 2017, named Ella and Alexander, 8.
These celebrity parents are on double duty!
