Isla Fisher Calls Out Ex Sacha Baron Cohen After 'Narrowly' Avoiding Each Other at Wimbledon
Isla Fisher hilariously called out ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen after the pair almost crossed paths at Wimbledon.
On Sunday, July 13, the 49-year-old actress took to social media to jokingly question her ex about their children after they both attended the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon.
Fisher shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail article that claimed the former couple “narrowly” avoided each other at the event. “Hang on? Who’s watching the kids?” she captioned the Instagram Story, tagging Baron Cohen, 53, proving they’re still on good terms.
Fisher and Baron Cohen married in 2010 after nine years together. They share daughters, Olive, born in 2007, and Elula, born in 2010, and a son, Montgomery, born in 2015. They announced their separation in April 2024, revealing they’d separated months earlier.
“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” their joint statement read at the time. “In 2023, we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change.”
Then, in February 2025, Fisher opened up about her divorce in an interview with The Sunday Times. “It’s the most difficult thing that I’ve been through and I’ve learnt so much about myself in the process,” she said. “I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents.”
She added, “Kids are the most important thing and you want them to really feel safe and loved. We are building a new, healthy version of what our family looks like and putting as much care and love into it as possible.”
Their divorce was finalized in June 2025, which they announced with another amicable statement.
“Our divorce has now been finalized. We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to coparenting our wonderful children,” read a joint statement shared via social media on June 13. “We ask for the media to continue to respect our children’s privacy.”
Fisher and Baron Cohen were not photographed together at Wimbledon. She attended with her brother, Daniel, and chatted with Lily Collins and her husband, Charlie McDowell, in her seat. Baron Cohen was seen talking to guests in another area of the stands.
