As many know, the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne passed away this week, mere weeks after his farewell show, but what many don’t know is that his second memoir will be released posthumously in October; and it tells fans everything.
His family confirmed he passed away at the age of 76 in a statement, reading, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.” And now, fans can get another glimpse into his life come this October.
Ozzy’s long-awaited second memoir, Last Rites, is all about the last seven years of his life, going into detail about his health struggles and his 40-year marriage to Sharon Osbourne.
It shares “shocking, bitterly hilarious, never-before-told” stories of Ozzy’s life as he dealt with near-total paralysis, and his reflections on his very chaotic life.
It’s already the number one bestseller in Rock Band Biographies; and you can pre-order his memoir today ahead of its October 7 release!
But if you want to read more in-depth stories about Ozzy now, we highly recommend taking a gander at his first memoir: the 2011 book entitled I Am Ozzy. I Am Ozzy is his first “tell-all memoir of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll;” and he holds nothing back as he reveals it all (and how his family truly saved his life).
And while you have to wait a bit for Last Rites, I Am Ozzy is available now!
