One of Chris Martin's Exes Just Became the Temporary Face of Astronomer After That Kiss Cam Disaster
In a truly hilarious turn of events, one of Chris Martin’s exes became the temporary face of Astronomer for their Q and A video. If you need a recap, or just haven’t been online in the past couple of weeks, Astronomer is the company that all eyes are on after the CEO, Andy Byron, and an HR exec, Kristin Cabot, were seen reacting so animatedly after being caught getting cozy on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert. Everyone has had an opinion about those two, but now, Astronomer is getting cheeky by tapping in Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he was in a relationship from 2003 to 2016.
On Astronomer’s social media accounts, they shared a video of Paltrow as the “temporary spokesperson” for them with the caption reading, “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”
Paltrow, who is there on a “very temporary basis,” jokingly answers a bunch of common questions. By that, we mean dodging the questions about the kiss cam scandal and joking that all eyes are on the brand for their actual purpose (which Paltrow does get into).
After dodging all the questions, Paltrow concluded, “We will now be returning to what we do best, which is delivering game-changing results for our customers. Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”
Now, people on X, the app formerly known as Twitter, can’t get enough of this video.
So many have praised this video response, saying things like “One of the best crisis responses I’ve ever seen in my life” and “chris martin’s ex-wife delivering this ???? give the marketing team a raise.”
And now, we’re just dying to know: how does Martin feel about this cheeky video, and did he know ahead of time?!
