Sources Claim What Ben Affleck Allegedly Thinks About Ex-wife Jennifer Lopez’s New Breakup Song

Jennifer Lopez may be ready to call out Ben Affleck in her new songs, but insiders claim how Affleck really feels about it.

Sources claimed to the Daily Mail that Affleck does not want to “entertain” Lopez’s new breakup songs. “It’s childish and not something he wants to entertain,” they said. “It is something he can’t control, so he isn’t going to let it hurt him… He’s definitely not going to give it life by reacting.”

Recently, Lopez debuted two new songs, including “Wreckage Of You” and “Up All Night;” which many fans believe is about Affleck. For instance, the song, “Wreckage Of You”, has lyrics like “Thank you for the scars you left on my heart / For showing me that stars shine brighter in the dark;” and “Because of you, I am stronger, wiser / Better than I’ve ever been.”

Then, the track “Up All Night” has lyrics like “I’m up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life / I bet you wish that you were by my side;” and “I got tired of you breaking me down / Look at me now.”

Now, this doesn’t come as a shock, especially to Affleck, because insiders told InTouch Weekly that Lopez wanted to call out Affleck’s bedroom skills.

“She’s telling people he was actually a pretty selfish and basic lover,” they said. “She’s so annoyed that she wrote all those sexy lyrics about him…she’s now ready to write a follow up, basically a break-up song, that will hit him where it hurts and put him on blast for all the ways he let her down, including in the bedroom. It’s therapeutic for her and she’s getting some satisfaction knowing that she’s going to eventually get some revenge by embarrassing him.”

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002. However, they were broken up by 2004 after canceling their wedding days prior to it. Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance.

A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. However, they then filed for divorce in 2024. As of Feb 2025, they’re divorced.
