Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Alleged House Hunting May Reveal a Lot About Their Plans for a Family
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly looking for a home in Cleveland, Ohio, the Kansas City Chiefs player’s home city.
According to local outlet Cleveland Scene, the couple “visited at least two opulent homes currently for sale in Northeast Ohio’s tony Eastside suburbs.”
The outlet hinted that the popstar and NFL star, both 35, were searching in an affluent neighborhood, which may hint at their future family planning. The Cleveland Scene described the areas as the “kind of places where wealth is abundant and babies are born with fully funded 529 accounts just in case they don’t get a lacrosse scholarship or decide to forego higher education altogether to pursue dressage full time.”
Kelce, who was raised in Cleveland Heights, may be looking to sell his Kansas City, Missouri, home after it was burglarized last year. Thieves stole $20,000 from the property, which Kelce purchased in 2023 for $6 million.
Swift, meanwhile, has an extensive real estate portfolio, so she may be looking to add to her collection as her beau inches closer to a rumored retirement after the 2025-2026 NFL season.
Their house hunt allegedly took place in June. At the time, Page Six obtained photos of the duo grabbing lunch at JoJo’s Bar in Chagrin Falls. At the time, the restaurant manager said of the date, “Travis grew up in Cleveland Heights, so he decided to visit somewhere he was familiar with.”
The couple has been enjoying some quiet time before the NFL season, but have been spending plenty of time together in Florida for Kelce’s preseason training. Kelce did give fans an insight into their relationship with an Instagram debut, which sources say “wasn’t random.”
“It was intentional,” the insider told People. “They’ve been private in their own way, but this was his way of showing how serious things have become.”
