Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Smiles Sweetly in Her Dad’s Arms in a Heart-Melting New Photo
In theory, love is an abstract concept that can’t be seen. In reality, we see it every day — in the way toddlers bring us little flowers from the yard, the way our dogs excitedly greet us every time we get home, and the way friends (and sometimes kind-hearted strangers) buy us coffee. One of the clearest examples of love was captured in a new photo — just seeing how much Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior’s face lights up in the arms of her dad Chandler Powell is magical.
“This smile will always be what I am most grateful for. Every single day. ????” Powell captioned a photo on Instagram.
In the snap, Powell holds his daughter in his arms, smiling at the 4-year-old as he swings her through the air. Grace looks adorable bundled up in a purple coat and white jeans, and her long brown hair swings out behind her as she grins in pure bliss. It’s so obvious how much she loves her dad!
“Love this relationship so much! ????????” one person commented. Someone else said, “This is such a beautiful photo, makes me miss my dad. Cherish every moment ???? because she will.”
Another person commented, “Grace a mini me of you, Chandler. Same nose, same smile ????.” So sweet!
Bindi was a Daddy’s girl too. She recently shared a childhood photo of her with her dad, the late Steve Irwin, and she looked just as happy in her dad’s arms as Grace does now. In the snap, the Crocodile Hunter holds Bindi in his arms (just like Powell and Grace all these years later!), and she is sparkling in a shiny gold dress with a hot pink feather boa in her arms.
“Missing you always. ❤️” she captioned the post.
In February, the wildlife conservationist opened up about motherhood in an interview with Parents. “My biggest superpower as a parent are my hugs,” Bindi said. “Any time Grace is having a big emotion — sadness, frustration, even joy — she asks if she can have a cuddle. Sometimes our hugs are 10 or 15 minutes long.” Aww!
These hugs are so special, Bindi doesn’t want them to end. So she simply doesn’t pull away! “I don’t care what else is going on. I am never the first one to break a hug,” she revealed. “She can let go when she’s ready.”
The way this family cares for each other is so inspiring!
