Harrison Ford & Calista Flockhart Step Out After His Admission About Issues With 'Staying in Love'
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart looked as loved up as ever at the 2025 Emmys.
The 83-year-old actor, who recently opened up about his 15-year marriage to Flockhart, was in attendance to celebrate his nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy category for his role in Shrinking. By his side on the red carpet was the 60-year-old Ally McBeal star.
Ford looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo while Flockhart matched his tones in a floor-length dress that featured a black, long-sleeve top with a high neckline and a black and silver striped skirt.
The duo ended up cutting their night short by reportedly leaving shortly after Ford lost out on his first Emmy to Someone, Somewhere star Jeff Hiller.
Ford recently gave a rare comment about his marriage to Flockhart on NPR’s Wild Card with Rachel Martin, opening up about his lasting romance with Flockhart whom he married in his 70s. “Old people can love, too,” Ford said.
“You know, you think about falling in love and all of that business,” Ford explained. “You think it’s the business of youth or something, you know, and staying in love is the issue. Maintaining, nurturing, basically, not f—ing up.”
Ford has been married three times, joking during the podcast that he has been married “all my life.” Hewas married for the first time in 1964 to Mary Marquardt. “I was married for the first time at 23 years of age, which should be illegal,” he told Martin. The couple had two children together before their divorce.
Ford married screenwriter Melissa Mathison in 1983 and had two more children before they finalized their divorce in 2004. In 2010, he married Flockhart and adopted her son, Liam.
“I, like everybody else, just like everybody else, I love being in love,” Ford said during the podcast.
While the Emmys wasn’t a winning night for Ford, he did give Flockhart an adorable shoutout during his 2024 Critics Choice Awards career achievement award speech.
“I want to thank my lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, who supports me when I need a lot of support,” Ford said with tears in his eyes, “and I need a lot of support.”
