Prince Harry’s Rumored Former Flame Says He Talked to Her About Moving Back to the UK
Prince Harry is fueling rumors that a move back to the United Kingdom might be on the cards for him, Meghan Markle and their children.
The latest clue comes from Joss Stone, who was once romantically linked to the Duke of Sussex. The British singer caught up with Harry at London’s WellChild Awards last week and revealed in an interview with Hello! that he quizzed her about her recent move back to the UK after years of living in the US.
“He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children,” Stone recalled in the Monday, Sept 15 interview. “It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back.”
Stone, who shares four children with husband Cody DaLuz, said that her move was prompted by the desire to raise her kids in “a safe environment … surrounded by family, friends and a strong sense of belonging.”
“He also asked about how we were settling back in and was genuinely interested in our move home. He’s just very warm and down to earth, as always. Maybe Harry will move back too. That would be nice,” she added.
Stone, a longtime pal of Harry, was briefly romantically linked to the Royal back in 2014. After the Prince’s breakup from ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, he was spotted partying with Stone who later denied dating rumors.
“I’m definitely not secretly dating Prince Harry,” Stone told CBS at the time, noting that he’s a “lovely” person.
Stone later opened up about her friendship with Harry and his now-estranged brother, Prince William, in 2017. “I love those guys,” she told Hello! “We all feel the same about doing our bit to help others… We’re incredibly lucky to have them and I’m proud to think we can have a relationship that can do some good.”
Harry left England in 2020 with Markle and their son, Prince Archie. Harry and Meghan live in Montecito, California with the now-6-year-old and their 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet. However, the Prince recently sparked rumors that a move back to the UK could be on the cards after expressing his desire to spend more time in his home country.
