Insiders Reveal the Terrifying Details to Why Taylor Swift Has Been ‘Hyper Vigilant’ in Recent Weeks
Okay, so you know how Taylor Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs game behind a bulletproof screen? People assumed it was due to a hair change for her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, or a pregnancy, but these new details highlight something much more dangerous happening behind the scenes.
It’s alleged that Swift has been taking extreme measures to protect herself, especially since her alleged stalker, Brian Jason Wagner, has seemingly disappeared.
Swift has a temporary restraining order against Wagner, per a declaration filed by Brooke Berg, a licensed private investigator Swift hired to track him down. He has allegedly evaded numerous phone calls and attempts to track him down to send legal filings.
Insiders told DailyMail that Swift is very “concerned” about Wagner because of the “depraved lengths he has gone to to invade her privacy.” They added, “Her team has to be hyper vigilant because she has been stalked so many times and recently discovered she has been targeted by [online] groups on social media. She will change promotional plans or scale back if any threats she has received online are deemed to be serious by her security team. It’s horrible.”
Another insider added about the infamous bulletproof screen moment, saying, “They used the screen to keep her safe. They have used that screen before, but usually it is for the President or someone like that, not a celebrity. But this was a weird week.”
Wagner has been reportedly stalking Swift since the summer of 2024, with reports of him breaking into her Los Angeles home multiple times and claiming they share a child together. Per the Guardian, Swift got a TRO for him to stay at least 100 yards away from her, and since then, he’s evaded the proceedings to make it permanent.
Sadly, Swift has dealt with numerous stalkers over the years.
In 2015, Swift had to deal with a man named Frank Edward Hoover, who was stalking her to a deranged level. Hoover sent terrifying letters to her father, claiming he was going to kill their entire family and saying he was the “real son of God.” He also claimed the Swift family was “the evil family of devils” and was soon arrested in 2016, per Newsweek. He was sentenced to a decade of probation starting in 2018.
Then in 2024, an alleged stalker named David Crowe was arrested outside her NY home for attempting to break in, over and over again, per Page Six.
Along with that, there was Eric Swarbrick, who was sentenced for sending threatening letters, Mohammed Jaffar for trespassing in 2017, Roger Alvarado, who broke into her home multiple times, and more, per Pop Culture.
