Priscilla Presley Doubles Down on Horrifying Allegation Against Elvis That She Once 'Regretted' Sharing

Priscilla Presley is resurfacing one of her darkest allegations against Elvis Presley in her new memoir after previously backtracking on the claim.
In an excerpt from In Softly, As I Leave You shared by Page Six, the 80-year-old focuses largely on life after her 1972 separation from Elvis but touches on some of the complicated aspects of their relationship, including the famous musician’s discovery of her affair shortly before their split.
Priscilla says their marriage broke down after Elvis learned she was having an affair with her karate instructor, Mike Stone.
When Elvis found out about Stone, Priscilla said he “forced” himself on her, “the way he imagined a karate master doing it… it left me with an unhappy memory of my last experience of sexual intimacy with Elvis.”
Priscilla writes that Elvis even considered taking out a hit on Stone but was discouraged from doing so by his inner circle.
“As difficult as it was, I never regretted my decision to leave Elvis. But I never ceased to mourn it,” Priscilla said, adding that coparenting their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, “was a challenge for both of us.” Priscilla admitted: “She was strong-willed from the beginning. Like her dad, she just came that way. Lisa had a mind of her own, and being Elvis’s daughter only reinforced it.”
Priscilla’s comments in her newest memoir restate a version of events she put forward in her 1985 book, Elvis and Me. In that book, Priscilla wrote that, after finding out about the affair, Elvis invited her to a hotel suite and “forcefully made love to me…[saying] ‘This is how a real man makes love to his woman.'”
In a 2015 interview with UK publication The Times, Priscilla said she “regretted” her choice of words, calling it an overstatement but admitted that Elvis, whom she started a relationship with when she was 14 and he was 24, “probably” indoctrinated her. “But I don’t see that as a bad thing,” she added.
Elvis and Priscilla separated in 1972 and the singer officially filed for divorce in 1973. The exes remained close until his 1977 death, even leaving a courthouse hand-in-hand on the day their divorce was finalized.
