Robert Irwin Declared Another Dancer the Winner of ‘Dancing With the Stars’: ‘Everyone Else Can Go Home Now’

0

The second episode of Dancing With the Stars hasn’t even aired yet — but contestant Robert Irwin just declared a winner. And, no, it’s not himself! The Australian wildlife conservationist told everyone else to “go home” because his adorable 4-year-old niece Grace Warrior is (un)officially the winner!

Robert shared a new video on Instagram of him and Grace, the daughter of Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell, having “dance lessons.” She is absolutely adorable following along on the choreography her uncle is teaching her.

“We’re going to go, ba ba ba, buh buh buh,” he tells Grace, while holding her hand and moving his feet back in forth in various movements. She copies him down to the “ba ba ba” sounds, doing her best to jump and twirl along with him. It ends up devolving into a fit of giggles and chaos (as things tend to do with toddlers), making Robert laugh.

DANCING WITH THE STARS – “Premiere” (3401) – “Dancing with the Stars” returns for its 20th anniversary. Cohosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, the ballroom welcomes 14 new celebrities for their first live performance. “Did I do it?” Grace sweetly asks. “Yes, that’s it!” Robert confirms. She is just too cute!

After doing another move, Bindi shouts from off-screen, “Loved it!” “A mirrorball champion has approved it,” Robert says, referencing the fact that Bindi won Dancing With the Stars 10 years ago. “So that’s a good dance.”

They finish with a big ta-da! And Robert says, “We did it! All tens!”

“Did I win?” Grace asks, and her uncle sweetly confirms she did. “Everybody else can go home now,” Robert quips. “Grace has won.”

And the best uncle in the world award goes to Robert!

In his caption, Robert wrote, “Grace is making sure my dance training continues when I get home. She is prepped and ready for season 50 of @dancingwiththestars ????????????.” He added that he’s “seriously so grateful” that his family has temporarily relocated to Los Angeles to support him on his journey with the show.

Bindi commented, “’Everybody else can go home now. Grace has won.’ ????” which received nearly 14,000 likes. In another comment, she added, “We are all so proud of you.” Aww!

Robert and Bindi’s mom also left a supportive comment. “I love Grace, ‘Did I win?’ She has my vote!” Terri wrote. Robert’s DWTS professional partner Witney Carson commented, “A star in the making!” So true.

“Talk about a little girl that’s going to grow up knowing her worth and how loved she is ???? I love this for both of them,” someone else said. Another said, “He’s so cute with her, you can tell how much he loves his niece ???? also 10/10 grace. You totally won!”

Last week, Bindi shared the cutest picture of Grace all dressed up and ready to support her uncle in the audience. “Tonight is the night!!! Robert’s debut on @dancingwiththestars. Such a surreal feeling to be here with my family 10 years later,” Bindi wrote on Instagram. “So excited to cheer on my brother and his incredible partner, Witney. ✨”

She posted a picture of Grace dressed in a light blue dress with sparkly silver stars along the tulle bodice and skirt. Her long brown hair was pulled back in a low bun, and her hand was propped up on her hip in the cutest pose. She’s a little princess-in-training, and we can’t wait to see what outfit she will wear for tomorrow’s episode!

Before you go, check out all the ways Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace is following in her mama’s footsteps.
