Jennifer Lopez Just Reacted to Those Alex Rodriguez Cheating Rumors & Her Response Says It All

Jennifer Lopez is still fresh off her divorce from Ben Affleck, but Andy Cohen wanted to know more about the end of her engagement to Alex Rodriguez in March 2021.

The tea was subtly spilled on the Oct. 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, and fans are reading between the lines on Lopez’s answer.

“The Bravoverse will kill me if I do not ask this next question,” Cohen prodded the 56-year-old superstar. “It came up at a Southern Charm reunion a few years ago…that your ex A-rod was DMing one of the cast members [Madison LeCroy].”

The TV host wanted to know if the “speculation” was true that Rodriguez’s rumored DMs “somehow led to your breakup.” Cohen was dying for Lopez to give fans a juicy answer after four years of silence on the topic. Well, she gave pause before diving into the answer, and if you see the subtlety in her answer, it actually speaks volumes.

“You know, I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore,” she laughed. “I feel like I’m done with that.” The in-studio audience liked her response because they understood what she was saying. Lopez then added, “Yes! Support!”

The affair allegations about Rodriguez and LeCroy first surfaced in January 2021 during Southern Charm‘s Season 7 reunion. The reality star’s ex-boyfriend, Austen Kroll, claimed she was involved with “an ex-MLB star” while they were dating. LeCroy admitted to communicating with the then-unnamed athlete on Instagram after he reached out to her.

“He contacted me, and yes, we DMed, but other than that there was nothing … I’ve never seen him [or] touched him,” she told Cohen during the 2021 reunion. While she insisted there was no physical relationship, there were accusations of a trip to Miami and sexual acts on FaceTime together.

LeCroy doubled down on her claims in a February 2021 interview with Page Six, stating that they had “spoken on the phone.” She then added, “That’s the truth… He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée [Lopez] with me.”

Still, the reported emotional affair was enough to end the couple’s relationship after almost four years together. “This has been a long time coming,” a source told People in March 2021. “They are tied in their business worlds, so it’s not a cut-and-dry breakup. It’s taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all.”

The breakup paved the way for a Jennifer 2.0 reunion in April 2021, and opened up another chapter in Lopez’s romantic life with Ben Affleck.
