David Beckham’s Teen Daughter Harper Stuns in a Black ‘Fit for a Very Special Occasion
Fashion always tells a story, and 14-year-old Harper Beckham’s latest look proved how much she adores her father, David Beckham. The former English soccer player and UNICEF ambassador was recently honored for his services to sport and charity by receiving a knighthood at Windsor Castle on Nov. 4. And his family, including only daughter Harper, looked immensely proud.
“David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country,” Victoria Beckham wrote on Instagram yesterday. Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.”
“You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father,” she added. “I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx”
The pictures include a ceremony with King Charles III performing the knighting ceremony to Beckham, as he kneels down before the king, Beckham and the former Spice Girl posing afterward with his metal, and a picture with three of their four kids. In the family photo, Beckham stands in the middle, holding the hand of his wife and his daughter, while his sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, stand just behind Harper.
The whole family is smartly dressed in black, and Harper looks incredibly sophisticated and grown up in a black dress with cap sleeves, a chic black bracelet, black tights, and a pair of velvet ballet flats. Her long blonde hair is pushed behind her ears, and her makeup is subtle and natural. She looks beautiful!
Beckham also shared a post commemorating the moment, writing in part, “I can’t even begin to describe what a special day it is for me today, a boy born in East London, to receive a Knighthood from His Majesty The King. I am truly humbled and so grateful for this honour.”
He praised his parents, grandparents, wife, and family. “All I have ever wanted to do is to make my family proud,” he wrote. “… My beautiful wife who has been by my side for the last 28 years, who has been my biggest supporter and my shoulder to cry on in tough times….without her I wouldn’t have had the life I have had. To my beautiful children who I am so proud of and I know this is a proud and inspiring day for them as well, they are our greatest joy in life and my inspiration every single day. I love you all so much…”
The Beckhams, who also share son Brooklyn, 26, who was not in attendance, brought their three kids to Gordon Ramsay’s Chelsea restaurant to continue celebrating Sir David. Harper looked elegant in pictures obtained by Daily Mail, as she stepped out in a ballet pink silk gown with a black feather coat. She is gorgeous and seems so proud of her dad, and it’s heart-warming to see.
