Insiders Claim Tom Cruise’s ‘Next Big Focus’ Has Everything to Do With Daughter Suri

As many entertainment fans know, Tom Cruise has reportedly been estranged from his and Katie Holmes‘ daughter Suri Noelle after their divorce. Rumors have swirled that the split was to protect Suri from the Church of Scientology, a Church her half-siblings are fully ensconced in, but it was never confirmed or denied. However, Suri has been living it up in college and even dropped “Cruise” from her name, but insiders claim Tom is trying harder than ever to reconnect.

“Tom has reached a point where he genuinely wants peace, and that’s shaping a lot of his decisions these days. Over the past year, he’s been quietly working to rebuild the bridges he’s burned throughout his life,” insiders said to Heat World UK. “That’s why he’s been so open and generous publicly with people like Brad Pitt and others in Hollywood. He’s even on better terms with Nicole.”

They added, “But the biggest amends he needs to make in his life is to Suri, that’s undeniable, and people close to him are saying that’s going to be his next big focus.”

However, musings about a possible reconciliation have been circulating for years, with no public confirmation. It seems their lives couldn’t be more separate, but insiders claim this time is different after his shock split from Ana de Armas!

“He’s being incredibly careful about how he goes about this because the last thing he wants is to cause [Suri] discomfort or put pressure on her. There’s no way he’ll mention Katie or rehash the past,” they added. “He’s very clear that if she isn’t ready, he’ll accept that and step back. But he’s hoping that this time will be different, that she’s now at a stage in life where she is ready to forge an adult relationship with him.”

For those who don’t know, Holmes and Tom Cruise started dating in early 2005, and within a year, they welcomed their daughter Suri Cruise in April 2006 (and married seven months later). Later, Holmes filed for divorce from Tom in 2012, and has continued to raise Suri to be one of the coolest celebrity kiddos.

(And Tom has three children in total, including Suri. He and Kidman, with whom he was married from 1990 to 2001, adopted two children: Isabella Jane “Bella” Cruise and Connor Antony Cruise.)
