Insiders Claim Ex-Prince Andrew May Be ‘Out of Royal Lodge’ by This Date — but He ‘Could Actually Find Himself Homeless'

After years of negotiations and rumors, it seems there is now a date by which ex-Prince Andrew will be out of the Royal Lodge. Not only is he reportedly set to be out this year, but there’s a definitive chance he could end up homeless.

According to the DailyMail’s royal editor, Rebecca English, Andrew will be “out” of the home by Easter.

“Stripping his brother of his birthright as well as his dukedom came as a huge surprise to some who doubted Charles had the stomach for it,” English said to the outlet about King Charles III’s actions. “I am told the plan is that Andrew will be ‘out’ of Royal Lodge by Easter, when the Royal Family traditionally gather on the Windsor estate, helpfully avoiding another potentially tricky encounter.”

However, there’s something else: as we said, he could end up homeless, but how? English said, “Whether he has a home to move into is another question. The extraordinary prospect that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who remains eighth in line to the throne, could actually find himself homeless for a short period of time next spring.”

Now, this comes as a bit of a shock because many were under the impression that after the massive Royal Lodge, he’d move into Charles’ Sandringham estate. (It’s privately owned and not held by the Crown Estate!) But between now and April, royal experts think anything could happen amid this unprecedented period.

For those wondering how he was in the Royal Lodge for years, his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, gave him a 75-year lease on the property, with the rent being one peppercorn, and it took literal years to get him out.
