Nicola Peltz’s Reported Monthly Allowance From Her Parents Puts The Beckham Family Wealth Gap In Stark Perspective

The ongoing feud between the Beckham family and Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and Nicola Peltz, 31, might come down to a major financial issue.

David and Victoria Beckham are worth a collective $550 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, but that pales in comparison to the staggering fortune of the Peltz family. Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz, is worth $1.8 billion, and that might be where some of the drama is coming into play.

According to British journalist Marina Hyde, Nicola has an astonishing monthly allowance from her wealthy dad, which puts her net worth around $50 million compared to Brooklyn’s fortune of $10 million.

“From what I hear, I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money, but not insane money, and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent,” she said on the January 27 episode of The Rest Is Entertainment podcast. “Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this, but I hear that he said to them, that ‘I give my daughter a million dollars a month allowance.'”

The Peltz and Beckham families have two very different perspectives on money and supporting their children. A source told The Sun in June 2025 that Nelson was disappointed that David and Victoria did not support their eldest son more.

“Money, so the saying goes, is the root of all evil. Certainly, in the case of the Beckhams vs Peltzes, it’s proven… tricksy,” the insider shared. “David and Victoria are two working-class kids done good. They have grafted hard for their money and understand that with privilege comes responsibility. On principle, they will not needlessly spoil their kids and have taught them the value of both industry and money.”

Brooklyn has been test-driving a variety of careers, from chef to photographer, while Nicola’s acting career has sputtered in the last few years after success in Bates Motel and Holidate. Still, the family drama seemed to play out during their 2022 wedding, and Brooklyn’s relationship has never been the same with his parents and siblings, including Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.

On January 19, Brooklyn put an end to the feud rumors by confirming what people had suspected all along — there is a brutal Beckham family rift. The Instagram Story went into great detail with claims that Victoria and David had “been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding.” From the disastrous wedding dress disagreement to the mother-son dance, there doesn’t seem to be any middle ground.

For now, a reconciliation seems far off. “The Beckhams have no intention of reconciling with their son unless Nicola is out of the picture,” a source told People in a January 27 report. “But that’s not an ultimatum he’s going to cave on. Brooklyn has felt more support from his wife in these past three years than from his parents in his entire life.”

Brooklyn is standing his ground and sticking by Nicola’s side.
