Costco's Mini Beignets Were Such a Hit That They Rolled Out a Decedent New Flavor

If you missed your chance for Costco’s mini beignets, then you’re in luck. After the extremely popular bakery item flew off the shelves, the wholesaler just introduced a brand-new flavor — and they look just as good as the original!

ICYMI, Costco brought back their popular French donuts, filled with chocolate hazelnut and sprinkled with powdered sugar on top earlier this month. A 22-count of the mini beignets, popularized in New Orleans, were just $9.99 and oh-so-delicious (it’s no wonder they sold out so fast!).

Now, Costco has introduced a new flavor: caramel!

Instagram user Laura Jayne Lamb (@costcohotfinds) spotted the delicious treat on Wednesday, captioning a video, “???? caramel beignets at Costco!” She picks up a package of the newest flavor, which are also $9.99 for a 22-pack, and describes how good they are in the clip.

“These are pillowy soft and the fact that they are almost bite-sized is so dangerous for me,” she said, pulling apart the pastry to show off the melted caramel inside. “They are light, fluffy, and they are so delicious.”

The commenters were just as excited about this new offering as we are. “NO WAY!!!! These are my favorite. Looks like I’m going tomorrow!!!! ????????????????” one person said.

Another wrote, “We had chocolate hazelnut at our Costco, they are delicious. Hoping ours gets the caramel flavor. More of a donut texture but still great.”

Someone else warned that shoppers have to be quick. “You have to be there the day they are put out. Sell out in hours. We drive 45 miles to Costco for some and none avail????‍♀️”
