Nicole Kidman Reportedly Has a Multimillionaire 'Romantically Pursuing' Her After Keith Urban Divorce

Now that Nicole Kidman is officially divorced from Keith Urban, she might be ready to dive back into the dating pool — and there’s already an interested party.

Multimillionaire Paul Salem, the chairman of the board at MGM Resorts International, is reportedly trying to woo the Oscar winner, according to TMZ. The outlet was told by “multiple sources” that the businessman is “romantically pursuing” Kidman, but “they are not dating at this point.”

They reportedly “share mutual friends” and have been out together twice in “group settings.” Kidman is currently single, but this could be a major turn of events in her personal life if she’s ready to date. In mid-December, there were reports that the 58-year-old actress was changing up her dating rules, which included crossing “famous guys and their insecurities” off her list.

“Nicole often needs to be away for long chunks of time, sometimes on the other side of the world,” a source told Star Magazine. “If a guy’s got an issue with time apart, he won’t be right for her.”

That’s why her friendship with Reese Witherspoon is important to Kidman. Witherspoon shifted her personal priorities after she divorced her second husband, Jim Toth, in 2023. She’s been in a relationship with German financier Oliver Haarmann since July 2024. A source told People in October 2024, “Reese loves that he’s a businessman and not into Hollywood.”

Kidman reportedly considers Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, who is dating wellness coach Jim Curtis, her dating mentors, per the outlet. She wants to avoid “a repeat of that situation” with her marriages to Urban and Tom Cruise, which means no “household names.”

That’s where Salem could enter the picture. He’s spent most of his career in the financial sector as founder of Salem Capital Management and The Salem Foundation, and his work with MGM Resorts International — he’s not looking for the spotlight. He and his ex-wife, Navyn Salem, divorced in 2021.

Kidman was married to Urban for 19 years, from 2006 to 2025, and to Cruise from 1990 to 2001.
