Stockdale - 6 - one smart save from a downward header, but his kicking was Kuzscack-esque and he had a couple of wobbly moments
N'sue - 7 - constantly trying to drive us forward, especially 2nd half - yet to show his quality in the final thirds
Grounds - 7 - excellent defensive display against a tricky opponent, but he may as well never cross the halfway line for the (lack of) quality he shows
Morrison - 6 - untroubled before he was injured
Roberts - 6 - another shaky start, yet to see the passing ability that was heralded, but dealt with a horrible opponent in Madine
Cotterill - 7 MOTM - Another positive display, outstanding corners and closest we came to a goal
N'Doye - 5 - Played the most advance of the 3 midfielders tonight, and it didn't suit him - passing was all over the place before he got crocked
Kieftenbeld - 5 - Just dreadful on the ball - all the positivity of his performance was negated tonight
Gardner - 5 - Cannot be our deepest midfielder, just not got enough to control games with his passing. Seriously disappointing
Maghoma - 6 - Bright in patches - some nice direct runs, but often crowded out by an ultra defensive Bolton setup
Donaldson - 4 - off to the glue factory for Donaldinho. Absolutely finished, and his second half half-volley was embarassing

Shotton - 7 - commanding performance - would rather he stayed than we sold him for half the price we buy Flint for

Vassell - 7 - very encouraging cameo, showed he can run in behind, but also strong enough to win challenges in the air - start him friday please
