Sunday meal dinner or tea? (17 replies)

So my parents always had the Sunday Roast at tea time never at dinner time.

They felt that by doing this they had the day to do whatever they wanted to do, they were both keen gardeners and liked home improvement / DIY.

It makes sense to me so I've continued with the same theme and normally have The main Sunday meal later in the day. So having a Sunday dinner at tea time if you will.

This eminently sensible idea causes astonishment when I explain it to some people.
