Undersoil Heating
Are there are any of the bigger clubs (Prem or Championship) that don't have this facility
I have no clue these days but what technology do they use ?.....I remember when it was a new concept , it was under soil pipes heated with simple hot water insulated enough and buried deep enough obviously that it wouldn't instantly freeze
What system do Blues have and when we did finally install it ?? I might be wrong but I don't think we had it until after Sullivan and co arrived
Here's a good question.....who was the first football club in England or Wales to ever install it and when
I always believed Arsenal first used it at their old Highbury around the 1967/68 season
But I later discovered that Everton's Goodison Park had some kind of snow melting treatment/experiment well before that possibly even as far back as the 50's
I'm sure Coventry City also installed it in at their old Highfield Road ground during the mid 60's.....would have been the era of Jimmy Hill
