Thoughts:
- Barring a huge collapse resulting in probably 5 losses or at least 4 from the remaining games Hull are as good as safe, they won't be going down.
- Burton do have a slim chance of survival. They have a winnable game against Hull tonight at home and they still have Bolton and Sunderland to play. Realistically, they're down. We will want them to do us a favour against Bolton.
- Sunderland have a winnable game but even with a win for them and a defeat for us they'll be 5 points behind us with an inferior(ish) goal difference. Realistically, they're down as well.
- Barnsley have a winnable game, despite their awful form they are a better side away from home. McCarthy won't last the season at Ipswich, I can see him going early. They're absolutely dreadful and he compared managing them to 'driving a driverless car'. I can see a Barnsley win tonight.
- Bolton at home to Millwall, should be an away win. Millwall are excellent on the road and are in great form chasing the playoffs, it would be just like this division to throw up a home win though. Bolton are dragged right back into it now and will be desperate for a result. I can see a draw.
- Reading, like Hull they are probably safe and they still have Sunderland at home to play. They should lose to Fulham tonight which could make it look like they're in trouble but with Sunderland and Ipswich still to play at the Waitrose Stadium they'll be fine.
- BLUE MACHINE. A point would be great tonight, our record against Bristol City is brilliant and we're full of confidence. Injuries and suspensions are taking their toll a little bit, we should be happy with a draw with Wolves coming up on Sunday.
I love and hate this time of the season when you're in relegation trouble, all the shit teams seem to start winning. A Millwall win and some actual effort from Ipswich tonight would be brilliant.
