Why did they give Toral worship applause?
Relief maybe for being 3-0 up?
Hull had a ex Blues player that got promotion and served Blues over many years with success.
Mr Seb Larsson I applaud your service to my Blues team.

I thought in conditions like the first half an orange ball had to be used. I had trouble seeing the flight of the normal yellow ball for large parts of the first 20 minutes of the first half, from the Tilton.
Blues boss Garry Monk gives his thoughts on today's much-needed and fully-deserved win over the Tigers.

BCFC secured their first victory under Monk with a 3-0 success at St Andrew's

Great to see a decent attendance today, just under 23000.
Why don't the club just keep the prices the same as today for the rest of the season and try to get everyone back, in fact why not offer a deal for the rest of the games for £10 each if all bought together??? Need to keep the place rocking.
All we have heard off the last 3 managers is we cannot play 4-4-2, the central midfielders aren't strong enough blah blah blah...well you stick that right where the sun don't shine!!!
How much better did we look today with two up top? The wide men both covered their full backs and it was great to see us play on the front foot!
Watching the highlights again we could easily have been 4 up at half time and all Hull had all game were two crappy shots wide. Great performance and we actually looked solid all over the pitch. Читать дальше...
Any ex Blues players you've ever completely forgotten existed?
Was just reading an article that mentioned Will Packwood as a player with decent potential that never made it. I'd forgotten all about him. Turns out after leaving us with a few nasty injuries, he failed a couple of trials in the US. He's since retired from football and is studying a finance degree.
I also had flashbacks of Ben Gordon playing for us after reading the post about Lee Clark. He's now turning out for... Читать дальше...

Based on their respective tenures at Blues, who ranks best and who's the worst of a bad bunch?
For me, I'd have to put wor Lee at the top. Obviously he'd win on pashun, but for all his crazy batshit line-ups and the 12 months without a home win, we did somehow serve up the occasional great performance such as the 4-0 win at Palace.
Wurzel probably comes 2nd. Impressive win against Cardiff to start with, and one decent run in January were stand-out features in an otherwise appalling tenure. Читать дальше...
..,,my arse !!
Pussies and chokers more apt
Monk allowing the players and his staff to take the plaudits at full time means an awful lot .
Maybe a new dawn - but still lots to do.
The synergy was very impressive.
It's a decent start......it's just 3 points.
Solid all round
Good lads !

I love him. A little magician.
I really hope we stay up to build a squad around this gem.
Sexy Spanish bastard.

Probably wor Lee first because of how batshit everything was. Looking back it's funny as feck in a strange way.
In footballing terms I'd probably have to go with Wurzel second - as mentioned by others Zola was doomed from the start, he didn't have the players that suited his style of play and failed to recognise that.
In terms of likeability, Zola was probably top as he seemed like a genuinely good bloke, followed by Clark and then Steve.
