3 at the back? (1 reply)
Could put CK in the middle, where he would hopefully look more comfortable again, and where his pace would be less of an issue, and Robinson left - adds height too. We’ve got 2 great options for RWB, and we’ve already got good wingers if we want to play them as well as the wing backs. Obviously if we play wingers as well as wing backs there would need to be some fluidity between the wingers and wing backs width-wise - something - fluidity - I would say we are crying out for, although another reason CD won’t do it The problem would be LWB.
I think Keshi has a lot of the attributes to play it (when fit)
Another reason it won’t happen is that we have, in CD’s eyes anyway 4 number 10’s ( including Doyle, who in my opinion cannot play there), and he clearly loves that position, and so will not dispense with it..
An in-game change could be Keshi off, Robinson to LB, Laird or Bright to RB, so a back 4 again and bring your 10 on if you want. It has the problem of putting CK on the left again, but we’ve got that from the start now
