Might just be me Dan, and apologies if so, but I’ve no idea what point(s) you are making.

Some people are incapable of saying anything that Knighthead do is wrong, and will answer any criticism of them with "do you want to return to the old days".

While I get there are some edgy wet wipes out as seen on from one particular respondent on this thread, I also think it's important we don't get so blinded to what they have done to pick apart when things go bad.

I know for a fact we're going to lose some fans over the next few years because they won't like the direction the club is headed and that is sadly inevitable; however I'd like to think we can say no if things are suggested which are not palatable. A personal example would be the idea of a league match played in USA, something I can honestly say I directly complained to Tom Wagner about when it was mooted two years ago.

I totally agree. Not so much on here in fairness but on X I see it a lot.

Bottom line is in 2 years they’ve taken us from where we started to exactly back where we started after what frankly was a monumental cock up and show of naivety in the first season.

I’ve seen people spin it as aw they were just learning or Rooney made sense at the time.

It didn’t. No one wanted him, he already had a shocking managerial record.

There are obviously massive positives about them too. I just think like you say, talking about them as a both side of the coin approach is fair and shouldn’t essentially be policed by people.

This is why I see it essential that they recognise not everyone wants to join an OSC - and that those outside of OSCs have legitimate viewpoints too.

We need to have fans who are in a position to say what they think cos they’re not scared of losing the access / proximity / power / whatever else they think that they have.

I totally agree, I don’t really like the OSC approach and not sure i’ll ever fully warm to it.

I have nothing against people who participate in them.

I just think the overall idea with them is you have a supporters group that you basically get to control the narrative with and police. The Rooney open house where people on X came out with basically Rooneys presentation was the bollocks get off his back.

That obviously came as direct messaging from the club.

People think it’s bollocks but it’s exactly what has happened at Newcastle, Man City and Forest.

People having season tickets revoked for criticising the club online etc. Also corporate has a monopoly on away tickets. Newcastle changed their points season so people with season tickets for decades now lose out to someone who has a box.

It’s important that fans outside of OSC’s still have a voice and you don’t create a two-tier fanbase.
