Re: Marvin Ducksch plan accelerates as Chris Davies faces crunch Birmingham City call
John McCarthyB47bluesRedditch BlueThis has been discussed before. I think you could reasonably say we’ve controlled two of the five league games so far. The other three? Not for me.
I appreciate the word ‘element’, but we were losing early in both of the last two games and never, in my opinion at least, looked likely to equalise. The opposition play accordingly, as we have done many times ourselves.
If Stoke had rolled up at our place and put that performance and result in and then claimed to have controlled it in any way, I’d have laughed at them.
Let’s hope tomorrow is better. It needs to be and should be. Can’t see more than a goal in it.
We controlled every game apart from Stoke. And I really don’t think that’s contentious to say
I wouldn't disagree with you, except when we 'voluntarily' (!) gave up more possesion to Ipswich in the second half, we lost some control actually. That is when I felt more uncomfortable.
They didn't create anything, but not having the ball, any bit of chaos can happen like the fluke penalty. Ipswich got lucky and we have been somewhat unlucky IMO.
i dont think weve been unlucky not having a shot on target the last three games.
