Club response to car stripping (12 replies)

They haven't publicised this or the other feedback from the last 2 home games in September (like they did for August) but it is on the website and found it interesting that they have committed to some action in response to the car stripping issue being raised

Starting with the November 4th match against Millwall the local police in both will commit PC’s to patrol the streets in Small Heath (a one-mile radius of the Stadium) and in Digbeth, 90 minutes before kick-off; during the match; and one hour after the final whistle. They will be joined by Club Stewards wearing visible vests. The Club is also working with local community leaders to find volunteers to join the patrols. The best way to combat this issue is for the community to take a stand and send the message to criminals to stay out of where we live and work
