Last season we were told that winning games/not losing was key. That’s all Davies focused on and was why we didn’t play exciting football. I really questioned that. Playing a high tempo can’t be done through flicking a switch. You have to do it daily in training and in games. We don’t commit enough players forward and play enough one or two touch football. The ball should never stop. Watch us. It does too often. That’s our biggest issue
Well said! Everything is slow. Balls played into players feet all over the pitch, touch to control then pass. Wide players especially want to run on to a moving ball. It’s been pretty poor viewing in the main.
