The bloke in front is babe because he's always on his phone texting his Mrs, we read his messages over his shoulder and she uses babe in every message at least twice.

Dave, no reason, he's sat there for donkeys years , always speak to him but never asked his name. We even call him Dave and he doesn't comment on it.
Steve, another bloke we speak to from years ago, already have a Dave so he got named Steve.
